Alkaline zinc-manganese battery is the most successful high-capacity dry battery on the market, and is also one of the most cost-effective batteries. Alkaline batteries use an electrode structure opposite to that of ordinary batteries in structure, which increases the area between the positive and negative electrodes, and uses highly conductive potassium hydroxide solution to replace ammonium chloride and zinc chloride solutions. The negative zinc is also changed from flake to granular, which increases the reaction area of the negative electrode. In addition, high-performance electrolytic manganese powder is used, so the electrical performance is greatly improved. Generally, the capacity and discharge time of alkaline batteries of the same model are 3-7 times that of ordinary batteries, and the difference in low-temperature performance is even greater. Alkaline batteries are more suitable for large current continuous discharge and electrical applications requiring high working voltage, especially for flashlights, shavers, electric toys, wireless mouse and keyboard, smart door locks, health scales, blood pressure monitors, blood glucose meters, and other electronic products.
